Nelson Story, Jr. , proprietor of the -- Story Iron 41orks and son of Bozeman pioneer and millionaire Nelson Storm, lived here from at least as early as 1900, to at least aslate as 1912, and possibly longer. The distinctively broad-gabled house appears as the only house on its block on the 1898 Bird' s Eye View of the city. There is so far no evidence that the house was built in 1895 for Joseph Baker.
