An excellent example of a large pattern book house built by A.J. Svorkmoe, a local
building, this house is very well preserved, and serves as a visual anchor in this
southern section of the district. Like most of Svorkmoe' s houses, thisone appears
to have been derived from "House Design No. 1061" in Hodgson' s turn of the century
mail order house pattern catalog.
Benjamin B. Law, district court judge, lived here in 1927.
