PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

! This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular
plan with a symmetrical facade consisting of a central front entrance and 4/1
double-hung windows. The frame construction is finished in aluminum siding
and rests on a raised concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with
green asphalt shingles and features overhanging eaves with bracketed rafters.
There is a central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to
the street and features a smaller gable roof over the front entrance. Out-
buildings include a garage.

This simple Bungaloid house was probably built in 1930 by local builder Olof
Holmquist. Aluminum siding is the only significant alteration. Nathaniel A.
Jacobson, a bookkeeper at the Monarch Lumber Co. , was listed as the resident here
in 1933.
