This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular
plan with an overhanging gable overdoor. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical
and consists of an off-center front entrance with 1/1 double-hung windows.
The frame construction is finished in stucco and rests on a concrete foundation.
The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features gabled dormers and
overhanging eaves with exposed rafters. There is a central concrete block
chimney. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street.

This simple, stuccoed house is similar to others nearby, and is characteristic of
the work of local builder J.A. Bartholomew. The resident here in 1933, and possibly
the original owner, was David F. Delap, a teacher at the Gallatin County High School
Also listed as a resident here in that year was Robert E. Wall , an assistant pro-
fessor at Montana State College.
