I This detached two-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square side hall plan with a hipped roof porch supported by three turned wood posts. The flush facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center glass-paned front entrance with double-hung windows with 1/1 sash arrangement and a bay window extusion. The frame construction is finished in clapboard with imbricated shingle in the gable ends. It rests on a rubble foundation. The cross-gable roof is covered wtih red asbestos shingles and features soffits. There are no chimneys. There is a garage of wood in back. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a/.,,contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
