Revision 1985
Typical of the several small ; Queen Anne Cottages found in Bozeman, particularly
in the Cooper Park Historic District, this house consists of a hip roofed main
block from which projects a canted, gabled bay. Aluminum siding and porch altera-
tions are serious detractions.
The original owner may have been Martha E. Stiff, widow of Jesse Stiff. Maud and
Gertrude Stiff, probably boarders, were boarders here just after the turn of the
century.
