PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structurelsite,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular
plan with a recessed front porch with solid railing across the front. The
one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance
with fixed and double-hung windows. The frame construction is finished in
2 bevel siding and has shingles on the gable ends. The structure sits on a
concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with blue asphalt shingles
and features a gabled- dormer and overhanging eaves with exposed rafters.
There is a central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel to the
street. Outbuildings include a garage with four bays.

A typical , notable example of a common eaves front, Bungalow style house type, this house
occupies a prominent corner lot. Though the names Charles F. Beck and Schoppe (a profes-
sor at Montana State College) appear on the sewer permit, neither are listed in city dir-
ectories. in 1927, John B. Neil , a barber, was living here.
