This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with an enclosed gable-roofed front porch. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of two front entrances with fixed and double-hung windows with leaded glass panes near the top. The frame construction 'isfinished with 2" bevel siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features overhanging eaves and exposed rafters. There is a central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a garage. a HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Third Revision 1985 An exceptional example of the Bungalow style due to its refinement of proportion and detailing, this modest house, which is similar to those of the South Tracy Historic District, was probably built for Charles S.
