PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-story single-family residence has a square plan with an
attached garage. The brick construction rests on a concrete foundation and
has casement and fixed windows. The gable (low) roof is covered with grey
asphalt shingles.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structurelsite
and surrounding area lend the property significance.

One of the last designs of the prolific local architect Fred r . Willson, this
typical, brick veneer, Ranch style house was built for W.W. Spain, a member
of a prominent local family. The house is non-contributing due to age. (Note:
more research is needed to prove attribution to Fred Willson) .
