Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with a hipped roof front porch which has been enclosed. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with 1/1 double-hung windows. The frame construction is finshed in asphalt siding and rests on a cut stone foundation. The gable-hipped roof is covered with grey-green asphalt shingles and has an exterior chimney and dormers. The axis of the main roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include a garage. _ TORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site z and surrounding area lend the property significance. Third --"" Revision 1985 A typical example of a vernacular, Queen Anne style pattern book house in Bozeman, this house is of only marginal significance due to the asbestos shingle siding and enclosed porch. A very similar, better preserved house is 719 S. 9th Ave. Though George Cooper is listed as the owner on the sewer permit, he is not listed in any city directories.
