Revision 1985
This typical, c. 1930 Bungalow is significant as a fine example of its period,
and as the home, in the 1930's and 1940's, of Elmer L. Bartholomew - Bozeman's
leading early 20th century house carpenter. Throughout the 19'teens and 1920's,
Bartholomew built several houses, and customarily lived in them temporarily
until sold. This house was apparently built for Bartholomew, who is listed
at this address through the 1930's and at least the early part of the 1940's,
and possibly later.
