This attached two and two-and-one-half story apartment complex has an irregular
plan, with decorative rubble brick panels' on the facade and a second-story
balcony across the front and side of a wing. A three-story fire escape is attache
to the side. The asymmetrical facade has sliding glass doors and casement and
fixed windows. Brick planters line the entrance approach. The bearing wall
construction is finished in brick coursing and rests on a concrete foundation.
The low-pitched gable roof is covered with built-up materia.ls and has two brick
chimneys. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street.

This fraternity house might be classified as an intrusion in the District, alth(
its landscaping and general style are not incompatible. It was built in the mid-1960
to replace a large older home that had served as the fraternity house.

has a two level open porch on the south half of the front facade. One the south then
is a porte-cochere.
