I Matt Cohen 309 W. Harrison Revision 1985 A very simple, well preserved example of the Bungalow style, this house was occupied ii: 1927 by Samuel G. Scott, an assistant professor at Montana State College. Scott may have been the original owner. A brick veneer, Queen Anne style house is shown on this sitr� on the 1904 Sanborn Map. The house is notable for its Bungalow style detailing, such as the bank windows of the porch and the variation of clapboard reveal width at dado level, on so modest a scale. This house was probably built for D.H. Budd, the leading early 20th century plumber in Bozeman who was involved in the construction of most houses through the 19'teens and 1920's.
