PHYSICALDESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan
with a recessed corner entrance. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists
of an off-center front entrance with 9/9 double-hung windows with shutters .
The frame construction is finished in board siding and rests on a concrete
foundation. The gable roof is covered with cedar shingles and features dormers
and a chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings
include a garage.

This simple Colonial Revival style Cape was built in about 1930 for Harry B. McCay
Jr. , a clerk at the H.B. McCay Hardware store at 27 E. Main. The house is of
only marginal architectural significance.
