Matt Cohen , survey(
A fine example of a vernacular Queen Anne style house , despite
very significant first floor alterations , this house appears to
have followed "House Design #1061 " in Hodgson ' s Practical Bungalows
and Cottages , a turn of the century house pattern book .
Earl S . & Grace Marshall are listed as being the residents here in
the 1927 city directory , but not in the 1916- 17 directory . Marshall
ran a furniture store at 33 S . Tracy . Alterations to the first
floor include the recent installation of pre-fabricated picture
windows in the east ( front) and south elevations , installation of
a pre-fabricated front door , and the removal of the porch posts
and railing .
