Built by carpenter W . H . Cline in 1917 , along with the rest of
this side of the block , this simple Bungalow style house is iden-
tical to 308 S . 5th adjacent to it , though of a reverse plan .
Another pair of identical Bungalows built by Cline , 316 and 320
S . ' 5th , stands next to this pair . (Though the sewer and water
permits for this house are missing , a clear attribution can be
made by visual association . )
W . H . Lawrence , a farmer , and his wife L . Florence , are listed as
the residents here in the 1927 city directory , though may have
only rented the house for the winter season .
