PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan wi0
a flush front entry. The one-bay facade is •asymmetrical and consists of a central
front entrance with fixed and 1/1 double-hung windows and a projecting solarium
near the front entrance. The frame construction is finished in pressed "wood"
clapboard and rests on a concrete foundation. The foundation is partially covered
with decorative stone. The gable roof has a shed roof in back and is covered
with brown asphalt shingles. There is a gabled, partially-shingled dormer
in front and two chimneys , one metal and one brick. Outbuildings include a
shed. The main axis of the house is parallel to the street.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.

Of marginal significance due to alteration , this simple eaves
front house nevertheless maintains the original rythm and scale
of the streetscape .
The house was occupied in 1927 by Charles A . Morton , who ran a
shoe repair business at 30 S . Willson Ave .
