Matt Cohen , surveyor
Non- contributing due to age and very marginal architectural
significance , this house was probably built by local carpenter
Olaf Holmquist , whose name appears on the sewer and water permits
of 1937 . No construction took place on this lot until after
1940 however , according to the city directory of that year .
The names Frank Hoey and C . F . Sievert , the latter also a local
carpenter , also appear on the sewer and water permits , though
their involvement is unknown .
Laurence C. Bergen , Assistant Cashier at the Gallatin Trust and
Savings Bank , was the resident here in 1942 , along with his wife
Lillian K. Bergen .
