Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a gable roof extending over the recessed front entrance. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center glass-paned front entrance with 4/1 fixed windows, 3/1 double hung windows and shutters on the ground floor. The frame construction is finished in clapboard and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with tan asphalt shingles and features boxed eaves and one central interior metal stovepipe. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Willmore . The residents of 1940 were Mrs . Jessie A . McLeod (widow of Donald McLeod) and Willard Walker . Willmore probably built and lived in 709 S . 7th Ave .
