This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with a hipped roof wrap-around porch and a shed-roofed addition to the rear. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of a central front entrance with fixed and 1/1 double-hung windows. The frame construction is finished in asbestos siding and rests on a rubble foundation. The gable roof is covered with cedar shingles and features two gabled dormers and partially returning eaves. There is a central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. The house was apparently for sale by the real estate insurance and loan firm of Widener & Bruket in 1907, when the sewer was connected. The 1904 Sanborn Map indicates considerable open land south of this house.
