Matt Cohen, surveyor
Associated with the earliest residential development in the district, which
was frused most heavily on the north side of Olive Street, this simple
vernacular house remians well preserved overall , despite the asbestos shingle
sheathing.
The house was apparently for sale by the real estate insurance and loan firm
of Widener & Bruket in 1907, when the sewer was connected.
The 1904 Sanborn Map indicates considerable open land south of this house.
