Matt Cohen, surveyor
One of the several pattern book houses on this segment at S. 6th Ave. ,this
modest house is well preserved, with the exception of the replacement door
and porch posts. Though the name T.H. Helbert appears on the 1907 sewer
permit, it appears in neither the 1904-5 nor the 1910-11 city directories.
In 1927, Cecil C. Starring, a professor at Montana State College, and his
wife Gertrude S. Starring, lived here.
