This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a flat-roofed carport to one side and a flush front entrance under a shed-roofed returning eave. The facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with 2/2 double-hung windows. The frame construction is finished in shiplap in the gable ends and vertical wood siding on the rest. The gable roof is covered with grey interlocking asphalt shingles and features a metal stovepipe. This very small house may have been built for Jennie McKinney, listed in the 1910-11 city directory as a "domestic" (maid) living at 201 S. 3rd Ave. McKinney' s name appears on the 1911 Sewer permit for this house, and again in the 1916-17 city directory at this address.
