PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached two-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with
a hipped roofed front porch with an arched wood trim. The asymmetrical facade
consists of an oval glass front entrance with carved ornament and fixed and 1/1
or 2/2 double-hung windows with beveled leaded glass in the upper panes.
The frame construction is finished in 3" bevel siding with shingles in the
gambrel ends, and rests on a concrete foundation made to look like stone. The
gambrel roof is covered with black asphalt shingles and features gambrel wall
dormers and a wood chimney in front. There is a new addition to the back,
exactly matching the original house. Outbuildings inlcude a barn of dropped
siding with gambrel roof covered by forest green asphalt shingles.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or everts
associated with this property.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
