Matt Cohen, surveyor
Probably originally occupied by Dale H. Cline, wire chief for the Montana
State Telegraph and Telephone Co. , this house is a fine example of the
Bungalow style, though greatly reduced in significance due to the recent
installation of large, tripartite picture windows in the front wall . Cline
lived here with his wife Lura until at least as late as 1935.
E. Myron Ferris, a real estate agent, may have sold the house to Cline.
It is unknown if Dale H. Cline is any relation to local carpcute W.H. Cline,
whose residence in 1916 was next door at 316 S. 6th, or if this house can
be attributed to W.H. Cline.
