One of the finest examples of the Bungalow style in the district, this large
house is indicative of the generally higher architectural quality found
near Cooper Park than elsewhere in the district. It was built for Armand
G. Berthot, Vice President and Cashier of the Security Bank and Trust Co.
The house is similar to 521 S. 6th Ave. , and may be the work of the same
builder, as yet unidentified.
