The house is attributed to local carpenter W.H. Cline. It is simialr to 603 W. Babcock, which may also be the work of Cline. This site, as well as the site of 320 S. 6th Ave. ,is labeled N.H. Cline" on a sketch map on the back of the water permit for this house. Cline, in addition, is listed as living here in the 1916-17 city directory. (It is unknown if Dale H. Cline, whose house stands next to this one at 312 S. 6th, is any relation to W.H. Cline) . In 1927, Harvey L. Edwards was living here. E. Myron Ferris, a real estate agent, apparently had some involvement with the construction of the house. ! Bibliography Application for Sewer Connection, April 29, 1914, E.M.
