This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with an enclosed recessed front porch. There is a small shed-roofed back porch and a rectangular bay window on the south side. The main facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with fixed and 4/1 double-hung windows. The frame construction is finished in 2" bevel siding and has shingles on the gable ends. The structure sits on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered wtih brown asphalt shignles and features a new shed dormer and overhanging eaves with exposed rafters and knee braces. There is a metal chimney which replaced the original brick chimney. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include a garage. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
