Coiicn 516 S. 6th 1985 revision Matt Cohen, surveyor Though non-contributing because of the large, 2-story addition that projects from the south third of the facade, as well as the porte cochere addition to the porch, this Bungalow is nevertheless significant for its limestone ashlar first floor. In that respect, the house is unique in the district. The house was occupied probably from the time of construction in 1919, and at least as late as 1927, by John Maxey. Maxey ran the Spieth & Krug Brewery, and a hotel , both on E. Main St. , in the late 1920' s (see Main St. Historic District) .
