A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA,AMENDING THE BOZEMAN COMMUNITY PLAN BY REPEALING THE
N. 19TH AVENUE AND OAK STREET CORRIDOR MASTER PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman has had a comprehensive plan (growth policy) since
1958; and
WHEREAS, the Bozeman City Commission adopted Resolution 3160 on February 3,
1997 adopting the North 19t'Avenue and Oak Street Corridor Master Plan as a neighborhood plan
subordinate to the then in effect Bozeman Area Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman adopted its current growth policy known as the
Bozeman Community Plan(BCP)through Resolution 4163 on June 1, 2009; and
WHEREAS,the City of Bozeman adopted its most recent text amendments to the growth
policy known as the Bozeman Community Plan (BCP) through Resolution 4195 on August 3,
2009; and
WHEREAS, the Bozeman City Commission established criteria for the amending of the
document; and
WHEREAS, a request has been received to repeal the North 19th Avenue and Oak Street
Corridor Master Plan, and

WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution 4880 establishing their intent to
repeal the North 19th Avenue and Oak Street Corridor Master Plan as a neighborhood plan under
the overall authority of the growth policy, and
WHEREAS, after adequate public notice the City of Bozeman Planning Board conducted
a public hearing on the application on February 6, 2018 and passed a favorable recommendation
on the amendment; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with 76-1-602, Mont. Codes Ann., and upon adequate notice
to the public on March 5, 2018 the City Commission conducted a public hearing prior to taking
any action to adopt or revise a growth policy; and
WHEREAS, after the public hearing the City Commission considered the application,
all received public testimony, and the criteria for amendment and being fully informed on the
matter adopt Resolution 4891, a resolution to amend the Bozeman Community Plan as herein
stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana,that:
Section 1
Resolution 3160 which adopted the N. 19th Avenue/Oak Street Corridor Master is repealed
and the N. 19th Avenue / Oak Street Corridor Master is repealed and no longer a neighborhood
plan under the Bozeman Community Plan.

PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, at a regular session thereof held on the 5th day of March, 2018. Effective
March 5, 2018.
