This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a recessed front porch under the main gable roof and a gable-roofed bay projection to the side of the porch. The two-bay front facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with fixed and 1/1 double-hung windows. The frame construction is finished in shingles and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with grey- brown asphalt shingles and boxed eaves. The axis of the roof is perpen- dicular to the street. Outbuildings include a garage. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. I This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Progressive Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development. The well-preserved house is similar to "Bungalow Design No. 3021" in Hodgsons' turn of the century pattern book: Practical Bungalows and Cottages for Town and Country (see appendix) . The name C.A. McIntyre, an undertaker, appears on the sewer permit of 1915. By 1925, the resident here was William H.
