PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials. Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square
plan with a recessed corner porch under the main roof. The two-bay
facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with
double-hung and fixed windows. The frame construction is finished in
stucco and shingles and sits on a concrete foundation with a single
decorative row of concrete-formed brick to define the foundation. The
gable roof is covered with green interlocking asphalt shingles and features
gabled dormers and exposed rafter ends, the front rafter ends having
decorative work. There is a central masonry chimney. The axis of the
main roof is parallel to the street.

No.n-contributing due to alteration to the fenestration and porch, this
house nevertheless contributes to the streetscape rythm, since the
Bungalow form and detailing is still clearly evident.
William Maxey, a mine operator, was living here in 1927.
