Matt Cohen, surveyor
One of the several houses in the district built in the 1930' s on a site
for which a sewer permit was signed by George P. Dier in 1919, this house
is a fine, example of the Bungalow style. The building incorporates several
motifs typical of the 1930' s such as jerkin head roofs, stucco, and Tudor
Revival half timbering.
The house was probably built for Edward J. Hoell , executive assistant
of the Gallatin National Forest.
