Probably one of the five Bungalows built by Guy A. Ensinger that were
noted in a 1917 article in American Builder magazine, this house is
a well preserved example of the numerous modest houses built in the
district in the 19'teens.
In 1927, the house was occupied by Rollin F. Bovee, of Bovee & Paddock,
a men' s clothing store located at 33 W. Main.
