One of the several houses in the district built in the (mid-
1920' s to early) 1930 ' s on a site for which a sewer permit was
signed by George P . Dier in 1919 , this house has a gabled entry
vestibule typical of many of those houses . The house probably
replaced an earlier house on this site , which appears on the
1927 Sanborn Map . It is of only marginal architectural signi -
ficance , in part because of the asphalt brick sheathing .
