More -closely associated with 19th century architectural forms
that those of the early 20th century , which predominate in the
+ district , this simple " I -House" was one of the first houses
built in the immediate area of Cooper Park .
i The house is very well preserved , and displays simple Queen
Anne style features such as the full front porch , and the
gable peak ornamentation formed of diagonal clapboard .
In 1927 , Herbert E . Johnson , a "driver" , and his wife Ada E .
Johnson , resided here .
