1985 revision
Matt Cohen , surveyor
Probably one of the several houses built in the 19 ' teens by
local carpenter Ora E . Long , this house is a typical , well -
preserved example of the Bungalow style in Bozeman . Windows in
the front of the porch may have been altered . Two other comparable
houses on this block are attributed to Long , 518 and 519 S . 7th
Ave .
The original owner of the house was probably Philip W . Weismandel ,
proprietor of the "Wisey Wonder Store" . By 1927 , a salesman ,
Clarence W . Hess , lived here .
