This simple , Depression-period Cape is a typical example of
1930 ' s residential construction in Bozeman . It is similar to
several houses of this period associated with the name George P .
Dier ( see appendix ) .
The house does not appear on the 1927 Sanborn Map , and is not
listed in the 1927 City directory . Paul Anderson , probably
the primary original owner , is listed as residing here in the
1933 directory , along with J . Harry Healy , vice-president of
The Sweet Co . at 909 N . Wallace , and his wife , Amy B . Healy .
The Sweet. Co . dealt in grain , feed , coal , and other bulk items .
Paul Anderson is also indicated for this site on the sketch
map on the back of the 1916 Sewer permit for this site .
