PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one- story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with
six steps and wooden railing leading to a gabled, off-center, open porch
supported by three large, square columns. An enclosed porch with shed roof
is attached to the rear. The one=bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of
a central front entrance with 1/1 double-hung windows and a fixed window
above the front porch in the attic. There is tapered vertical trim on the
casings. The frame construction is finished in clapboard bevel to the window
head, with shingles in the gable and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable
roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features overhanging eaves
and exposed rafters. There is one central brick chimney. The axis of the
roof is perpendicular to the street.
