An excellent example of the Tudor Revival Style in a very modest
form , this house is one of the several in the district built in
the late 1920 ' s to early 1930 ' s that are associated with the name
George P . Dier . Of those houses , most have a gabled entry vestibule
such as this one .
William E . Toner was probably the original owner of this residence .
The one notable alteration , the replacement of a tripartite , small
sash window with the present signle light picture window , is a
significant detraction .
