PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-and-one-half story multi-family residence has a rectangular plan with a recessed front porch across the front with a solid railing. The facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with fixed and 8/1 and 4/1 double-hugn windows with a shed style awning over a side bay windows. The frame construction is finished in bevel siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features a shed roofed dormer on the front with overhanging eaves and exposed rafters. There is an interior brick chimney and the axis of the roof is parallel to the street. A deck as been added in back and the rear of the structure has been remodeled with new windows. Outbuildings include a garage. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associa-ted with this propertu. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to Its association with the residential aspect of the Progressive Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
