This detached one-and-one- half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a solid-railing porch under the main roof. The porch is supported by a pair of tapered wood columns on concrete pedestals at each corner. The one-bay facade is symmetrical and consists of a central front entrance with 1/1 and 6/1 . double-hung windows. There is a shed-roofed rectangular bay window to the east. The frame construction is finished in 22" beveled siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with dark brown asphalt shingles and features a central gabled dormer and boxed eaves with knee braces and exposed rafter tails. There is a shed-roofed extension to the rear and an interior chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Additions are indistringuishable from the original house, which is in excellent condition. Outbuildings include a detached garage of drop siding lx6. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structurelsite and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this surveyhas not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Progressive Phase of Eozemants historic/architectural development.
