PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials. Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has an irregular plan with a corner hipped front porch supported by columns on a concrete base. The separate stoop covers only a part of the area protected by the porch roof. The asymmetrical facade has a side entrance with a transomed leaded glass window and fixed windows , with double-hung 1/1 in the rest of the structure. The frame construction is finished in 4" beveled siding with corner trim and rests on a cut stone foundation. The gable roof is covered with forest green asphalt shingles and features a gabled dormer and continuous returning eaves as well as a brick chimney and metal stovepipe. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a gambrel-roofed barn which is either new or completely remodeled. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not _yielded an�T significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozemants historic/architectural development.
