PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached two-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan
with a gambrel roof that lies perpendicular to the street. The front
entrance is covered with a gable roof supported by pillars , and windows are
shuttered 1/l .double-hung. The frame construction is finished in wood
siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The gambrel roof features
pairs of shed-roofed dormers on each side. There is a small one-bay flat-
roofed garage attached to the side rear.

This property was built for Carlisle Kenyon, son of Squire C. Kenyon, founder
of the Kenyon-Noble Lumber Company. Born in 18.87, Kenyon was five years old
when his father bought the Pray Lumber Company from George Flanders in 1892.
In 1906 the company was incorporated as the Kenyon-Noble Lumber Company, with
S. C. Kenyon as president, Thomas E. Noble as vice-president and Carlisle S.
Kenyon as secretary-treasurer. The firm continues today under that name.
