603 W . Babcock
1985 revision
Matt Cohen , surveyor,
One of the outstanding examples of the Bungalow style in the
district , this unique house may be the work of David M .
Anderson , a local carpenter who signed the 1921 water permit
for the site and was listed as living here in 1927 . The house
appears on the 1927 Sanborn Map as the westernmost structure
on W . Babcock St . It remains today the westernmost house of
high architectural significance in this very cohesive street-
s cape .
The house is similar to 316 S . 6th Ave . , which is attributed
to local builder W . H . Cline .
