PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one-and-on-half story single-family residence has a T-shaped
plan with a flush entry above a concrete stoop with metal railing. The
frame construction is finished in narrow beveled siding with shingles in the
gable ends , and sits on a concrete foundation. Windows are 4/1 , 2/1 and 6/6
double-hung. The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features
a shed-roofed dormer and exposed rafters on overhanging eaves. The axis of the
Iroof is parallel to the street.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site
and surrounding area lend the property significance.
Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.

Phase of Bozemants historic/architectural development.

this house nevertheless contributes to the scale and historic
integrity of the streetscape ,

( Alex Swanson , in the mid- 1920 ' s the proprietor of the Gallatin
Feed and Fuel Co . , may have been the original owner and
occupant . His name appears on the 1911 water permit for the,
site , and he is listed as the resident here in the 1925 and
1927 city directories . He is not listed at all however , in
the 1914- 15 and 19: 2 directories .
