PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This two-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with
recessed porch under a front-projecting gable-roofed bay. The suports of the
porch are rubblestone, as well as the porch itself, and there is rubblestone
on the rear dormer making up a rear chimney. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical
and consists of an off-center front entrance with 9/1 double-hung and fixed windows.
The frame construction is finished in green stucco and sits on a rubble stone
foundation. The gable roof is covered with cedar shingles and there is an older
kitchen addition to one side. The axis of the main roof is parallel to the street.
Outbuildings include a carport attached to a two-bay garage.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated wlth the structurelsite
and surrounding area lend the property significance.
This residence property was built for Dr. Floyd Jump, a Bozeman physician.
It was stated in the Avant-Courier as being of a good design.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
