PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This two-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with
a column-supported wrap-around porch across the front and one side. The front
portion features two gable overdoors above the two main entrances and a spindle
railing between. On the west side, the first floor has a curved bay with a
decorative band at the top and two scroll pieces under eaves flanking the bay.
The front facade is symmetrical and features 1/1 double-hung and fixed windows.
The frame construction is finished in shingles in the gable ends and 4" bevel
siding. It sits on a concrete and cut stone foundation. The gable roof is
covered with ligth green asphalt shingles, and features two brick chimneys.
There is a porch off the southwest corner of the second floor with a wood railing
and trim decorating the top. The axis of the main line of the roof is perpendicular
to the street.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with- this property.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
