PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with a
recessed front porch under the hipped roof. There is latticework under the porch,
and the porch features a decorative gable and dentils under the eaves. The
two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-set front entrance with
1/1 double-hung and fixed front windows. The frame construction is finished in
2" bevel siding with shingles (decorative) in the gable ends. The structure rests
on a cut stone foundation. The hipped roof is covered with grey asphalt shingles
and features a corbeled brick chimney, and a metal stovepipe. The intersecting gable
has decorative rafter ends with a corner bracket. Outbuildings include an
attached one-car garage.

associated with this property.

district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
