This detached two-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a wrap-around front porch supported by four turned wood columns and having a gable roof. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of the off-center front transo ed entry with 1/1 double-hung windows. There is a bay window on the west side which forms a small balcony with railing on the second level . The frame construction is finished in 3" beveled siding with shingles on the gable ends. The structure rests on a concrete foundation and the gable roof is covered with cedar shingles. There is a wall dormer on the east side of the house with a gable roof. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include one shed. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significaht historical information concerning persons or events associated wittr this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
