This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a shed roof over the concrete stoop. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of a glass paned front entrance with double-hung windows. (The original front porch has been enclosed and converted to a kitchen , built with a hipped roof) . The frame construction is covered with 3" beveled siding and shingles on the second story, and sits on a concrete foundation. The gambrel-hipped combination roof has both shed roofs and flat roofs on the additions, and is covered with brownish asphalt shingles. It features a central brick chimney and a larger brick chimney in the rear. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include a three-car garage. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman's historic/architectural development. INTEGRITY: Assess the degree to which the structurelsite,and surrounding area accurately convey the historical associations of the property. The historic integrity of this property has been retained due to the survival of original design and materials and continuity of use, setting and location.
