PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of stricture/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular
plan with a shed roof over the concrete stoop. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical
and consists of a glass paned front entrance with double-hung windows. (The original
front porch has been enclosed and converted to a kitchen , built with a hipped roof) .
The frame construction is covered with 3" beveled siding and shingles on the second
story, and sits on a concrete foundation. The gambrel-hipped combination roof
has both shed roofs and flat roofs on the additions, and is covered with brownish
asphalt shingles. It features a central brick chimney and a larger brick chimney
in the rear. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings
include a three-car garage.

This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman's historic/architectural development.
